Dacia Sandero (13 - present)

Renault’s budget brand Dacia hit the proverbial nail on the head again with the Sandero. You might ask if there is a catch given the reasonable price but there isn’t. It is a reliable car and excellent value for money.  It’s decent looking inside and out and has a good amount of space in the comfortable cabin. There’s a huge boot too and you can fold the back seats down for extra room. You won’t be spoilt for choice when selecting your engine; there are just three: one diesel and two petrols. It’s not just an inexpensive new car but probably the most economical too. When it comes to driving, it gives a good account of itself. The handling is decent enough, the steering is good, although somewhat vague.
